The 25ft Quick Disconnect Extension Cable covers the full range of long-distance storage situations — marina and dock charging, large garage and outbuilding setups, vehicles stored at the far end of a shop floor, and any installation where shorter extensions fall short.

SAE Quick Disconnect Connector

Uses the SAE J563 two-pin quick disconnect standard — compatible with all Battery Tender® chargers and accessories and any third-party battery charger or maintainer using the SAE quick disconnect connector. Inline connection between the charger output and the ring terminal harness or clamp set. No tools or modification required.

When to Use the 25ft Extension

The 25ft extension covers marina and dock storage where the outlet is at the dock structure and the battery is aboard a boat in the slip, large workshops and storage facilities where a single wall outlet serves multiple vehicles spread across the space, detached outbuildings where the outlet is near the entrance and vehicles are stored at the back, WaveCharge multi-bank installations where one or more banks require maximum cable reach, and any seasonal storage setup where the outlet location and the battery location are far apart.

Maximum Extension Length

The maximum recommended total cable length when daisy-chaining Battery Tender® SAE quick disconnect extension cables is 33 feet. Do not exceed this limit as excessive cable length can cause voltage drop that affects charging performance.
